Howdy y’all! Our villagers rounded up for a hoedown at High Point Village on February 21. All the cowboys and cowgirls came to dance to some good ole’ country music. Everyone boogied all evening with friends and had the time of their lives! This night was filled with much excitement and laughter. Mike and Angie were one of the couples in the crowd that night who came out for a great time! Mike said, “I had a lot of fun dancing, especially to the Boot Scootin Boogie. That’s a good song!” His beautiful dance partner Angie said, “Good Country music. Good food. Good fruit. I liked the song ‘I Cross My Heart’ by George Strait.” Mike agrees saying, “Yeah! That was a really good song.” Barbeque, fried chicken, cheesecake and desserts were provided by Wal-Mart, Rudy’s BBQ, Dickies Barbecue Pit and a cash donation from the Pilot club of Lubbock. We would like to give a huge thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, and donors who made this night possible!
