High Point Village operates an Enrichment Center offering unique programs to individuals with special needs. High Point Village also plans to grow into a high-quality Residential Living Community with a family atmosphere dedicated to increasing skills, expanding opportunities, and enriching the lives of individuals with special needs.
HIGH POINT VILLAGE, Lubbock, Texas is a faith-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization developed for the purpose of providing an ENRICHMENT CENTER and RESIDENTIAL LIVING COMMUNITY for individuals with SPECIAL NEEDS.
Designed to enrich the lives of individuals with special needs through a variety of vocational, educational, social, and motivational activities, High Point Village's outreach includes both an enrichment center and ultimately will include a Living/Residential Community. This community will empower those with special needs to achieve more life skills, spiritual growth, self-esteem and be a greater part of their community.
We will strive to accomplish this task with dedication and will be good stewards of the financial means provided.
Our Needs- We need individuals, business, and organizations to partner with us in this effort.
The First Phase will be to develop High Point Village Enrichment Center for individuals with special needs.
The Second Phase will be our Residential Living Community, with a home-like atmosphere. Possibilities for this community include work opportunities, several residences, an office complex, a multipurpose activity building, an interdenominational chapel, and other facilities as deemed necessary.
Some individuals may be employed in off-campus jobs, while others work in a variety of ways on campus. Each person should feel they contribute to the community to the best of their ability. Our goal is to provide a safe place where our Villagers can live independently as possible, with friends, peers and with whatever support they need to live the lives they desire and deserve.
